The East Asian Studies Center, Center for Latin American Studies and Center for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies have awarded $146,494 in summer Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) fellowships to 18 students, spanning more than nine graduate programs and six undergraduate majors.

Ejuan Kendrick, a public management, policy and leadership major in John Glenn College of Public Affairs, studied abroad on the Multicultural Histories and Legacies of Spain (MUNDO) program with the College of Education and Human Ecology.
