GOHi staff spotlight: Eden Dagnachew Zeleke

Eden Dagnachew Zeleke is a program coordinator at the Global One Health initiative (GOHi) Eastern Africa Office. Zeleke specializes in clinical trials that focus on evidence-based medicine by reviewing the utilization, safety and efficacy of medication, diagnostics and observational studies.

In her current role at GOHi, Zeleke coordinates three projects on anti-microbial resistance, Adverse Event Following Immunization and a costing study on Vaccine Preventable Disease surveillance.

Before coming to GOHi, Zeleke was a faculty member at a public university in Ethiopia, working as a lecturer and researcher, where she helped with curriculum development and community engagement.

She has also delivered various short-term virtual training workshops, including bio-ethics for postgraduate students.

Zeleke holds a BS in Midwifery from Dilla University and an MS in Clinical Trials from Addis Ababa University.
