Now that you’ve gained global experience and intercultural competencies through studying abroad, use your new international skills to help market yourself as a well-rounded candidate for a job or internship.  

  • Get in touch with your college’s Career Services Office for coaching, resume and interviewing help, mentorship and more to help you make the most of your global experience. 
  • Handshake is Ohio State’s comprehensive, web-based career services management platform to help students find internships, co-ops and career opportunities. 
  • GoinGlobal career and employment resources include world-wide job and internship openings. You can access it within Handshake under the career center resources. 
  • Check out the Office of Student Life Buckeye Careers upcoming events and programs including career fairs and more. 
  • The Office of Student Life Buckeye Careers offers monthly workshops on resumes, interviewing and job search strategies. 
  • Dress professionally with the help of Student Life's Career Closet. 
  • Brush up on best practices when it comes to resumes, networking and putting your best foot forward with the College of Arts and Sciences’ guides and tip sheets.
