We understand that Ohio State is a large university and sometimes it can be difficult to find specific resources. To help you understand which university offices are available to help, we have broken down their main responsibilities and how to contact a staff member.

Office of International Affairs – International Students

Facilitates the arrival, integration, engagement and success of international students including managing immigration issues and regulatory compliance.

Office of Student Academic Success – Academic Advising

Guides and champions the successful recruitment, enrollment, retention and graduation of all Ohio State students.

Office of Technology and Digital Innovation

Provides students on and off campus with an enriched educational experience.

Office of Student Life

Consists of more than 40 departments dedicated to creating the extraordinary student experience for every Ohio State Buckeye.

University Housing

Works to accommodate the needs of students while they live on campus.

Off-Campus and Commuter Student Engagement

Supports students in finding housing and roommates and staying safe while living in the off-campus area.

Student Wellness Center

Provides individual coaching, group workshops, online resources and more to promote and support student wellness. Students can take advantage of a number of resources, such as financial coaching and nutrition coaching.

Student Advocacy Center

Helps students navigate Ohio State's structure and resolve issues that they encounter at the university.

Student Health Insurance

Manages the university's health insurance requirement and provides options to meet it. Learn about health insurance for international students.

Student Health Services

Provides accessible, high-quality health services to support academic success and co-curricular engagement.

Disability Services

Collaborates with and empowers students who have disabilities in order to design accessible environments and to provide academic accommodations and support services.

Office of Institutional Equity

Helps the Ohio State community prevent and respond to all forms of harassment, discrimination and sexual misconduct.

Student Legal Services

Provides confidential legal advice and representation for a wide range of legal issues that Ohio State students typically encounter.

Buckeye Food Alliance

Works to reduce the impacts of food insecurity through outreach efforts and the operation of a client-choice food pantry. The food pantry is open to all Ohio State Students and provides fresh produce, pantry staples, meat and dairy products, personal care items and more.
