Sharon Santoso Clark is an internal medicine-pediatrics physician in the Division of Hospital Medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and the Section of Hospital Pediatrics at Nationwide Children's Hospital and a clinical assistant professor at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Clark specializes in the care of hospitalized children and adults. She serves as the director of patient experience for the Division of Hospital Medicine at the Wexner Medical Center and the section chief of adult hospital medicine at Nationwide Children's Hospital. She is also an associate medical director for University Hospitals with a focus on patient experience.
With a passion for helping the next generation of healthcare workers, Clark is actively involved in resident and medical student education. She has a special interest in global health, working in Indonesia and serving as a founding leader of the Wexner Medical Center Global Health Interest Group and director of the Global Health Scholars Program for residents. She also works with the Global One Health initiative in planning the Internal Medicine Series for the annual Summer Institute, building capacity among health professionals in eastern Africa and beyond.
Clark and her golden retriever, Ashby, volunteer as a core handler-dog team with Buckeye Paws, a certified therapy dog program with the mission of supporting the mental and emotional health of faculty, staff, and students at Ohio State.
