Atlassian's Chief Technology Officer Rajeev Rajan MS ’93, computer science, received the Distinguished Alumni Award for Career Achievement from the College of Engineering.

"This recognition truly means a lot to me," Rajan said. "Reflecting on my journey from growing up in a small town in India to arriving in Columbus, Ohio with just a suitcase and about $400, I never imagined I'd receive this incredible honor," Rajan noted.
Rajan visited with faculty, staff and students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineeering while on campus for the award ceremony. During the discussion, Rajan offered guidance to undergraduate computer science students on navigating their early tech careers in the age of AI.
"A huge thank you to everyone at Ohio State, not just for introducing me to the best Buckeye donuts on High St., but for shaping my path. I couldn’t have gotten this far without the incredible support I’ve received along the way. I’m especially grateful to my family, who have always supported me and even flew in to celebrate with me, and to my late grandfather who ignited my love for math and sports. I’m proud to be a Buckeye and to carry forward the spirit of excellence in the hopes of inspiring the next generation of tech leaders. Go Buckeyes!"
