The Fisher College of Business and S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) delivered the "Creating Execution Excellence: The Missing link between Strategy and Results" seminar to more than 100 mid and senior-level employees from various businesses with an average work experience of 15 years.
The panel focused on what makes certain organizations execute and achieve their growth and transformation objectives. The conversation involved identifying the right problem opportunities to work, developing a growth mindset to drive change, making decisions using hard and soft data, developing leadership skills to grow and creating a management system to sustain change.
Aravind Chandrasekaran, associate dean for graduate programs and executive education, Fisher, moderated the panel of speakers. Varun Nagaraj, dean, SPJIMR, Rajinder Singh, dean, Mahindra Institute of Quality, Ayon Banerjee, MBA ’99, managing director and partner at Boston Consulting Group, India, Kumar Padmanabhan, business head, Asia Pacific, PPG and Vishwanath Swarup, MS ’94, engineering, COO, Bharat Serums and Vaccines Ltd. shared insights on growth and transformational challenges in India and Asia Pacific. The panel focused on the importance of strategy execution and the skills needed to achieve supply chain transformations, workforce development, and G&T initiatives.
Chandrasekaran also shared a glimpse of the newly launched ‘Certificate Program on Execution Excellence’ in collaboration with SPJIMR.
