Amy J. Schmitz, John Deaver Drinko-Baker & Hostetler Chair in Law at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, has been awarded a 2022-2023 Fulbright U.S. Specialist award to strengthen the research, education and international collaboration in the field of digital conflict resolution.
Schmitz will complete the project at Radboud University, in Nijmegen the Netherlands, that aims to exchange knowledge and establish partnerships benefiting participants, institutions and communities both in the U.S. and overseas through a variety of educational and training activities within law.
She is a co-director of the Translational Data Analytics Institute's Responsible Data Science Research Community of Practice, and is also affiliated with The Ohio State Program on Data Governance and the Divided Community Project.
The Fulbright U.S. Specialist Program is administered by World Learning and is sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State.
