Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Brazil Gateway represents Ohio State at internationalization events

Jane K. Aparecido, Brazil Gateway director, was invited to represent Ohio State in events held by two prestigious public Brazilian universities.

On November 22, Aparecido, spoke about Ohio State’s internationalization strategy during the Internationalization Forum at São Paulo State University (UNESP) to around 150 UNESP staff and faculty.

On November 23, Aparecido joined seven universities from Japan, the United Kingdom, France and Germany during the University of São Paulo (USP)’s III CAPES PrInt Workshops. Ohio State had a table during a university fair and Aparecido delivered a presentation on Ohio State’s graduate program to 20 USP students.

Both universities are significant long-standing partners of Ohio State in Brazil and have listed Ohio State as a partner under the Brazilian government CAPES PrInt funding system.
