The Alumni Club of Brazil has successfully concluded its second fundraising campaign, reaching its $3,000 goal by July 9. The campaign was launched to expand access to academic and professional opportunities at Ohio State.
Since 2020, the club has led more than 25 initiatives and has grown to include over 100 participants. In 2024, the first fundraising campaign exceeded its goal. The funding supported seven students to attend a summer program at Ohio State.
The 2025 campaign aims to support a range of short-term opportunities, including:
- Application fees for graduate programs
- Summer Explorations (one week)
- Soccer Summer Elite Camp (three days)
- Ohio International Intern Program (TOP) in agriculture
- Foundations of U.S. Law and Practice (one week)
Additionally, the club attained the Scarlet Level this year, which is the highest level an alumni club can achieve through The Ohio State University Alumni Association.
A thank you message from Roberto Abramson, president of the Alumni Club of Brazil, can be viewed on the Buckeye Funder web page.
