The Ohio State University Global One Health initiative (GOHi), in collaboration with the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI), conducted a four-day training on basic data analysis for 19 participants.
The primary purpose of this training was to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to undertake Public Health Emergency Management (PHEM) data collection, storage, analysis, interpretation and reporting. The training also aimed to fill data analysis tools/software skills gaps.
The training had four different comprehensive modules: an overview of PHEM and Public Health Surveillance, basic excel, basic concepts on data and measures of disease occurrence and surveillance data management and analysis.
