    Images and photographers from India are featured prominently in the 2025 International Photography Exhibition.

    A graduate student from India, Anuvab Sarkar capturedAbsorbed in his art in Kumortuli, Kolkata and won the First Place award and the People's Choice award in the Arts & Culture Category.

    A graduate student from India, S. Snehill Pulluri, captured An Uncomfortable Perspective and earned the 2nd Place award in the Places Category. Pulluri also won the 3rd Place award and the People's Choice award for Maintenance at Dusk” in the People Category. Both images were captured in India.

    An alumna from India, Lopa Basu photographed "Dirang Bazaar" in Arunachal Pradesh and received an Honorable Mention in the exhibition.

    The photographs in the 2025 exhibition were taken overseas in 24 different countries by 29 Ohio State students, staff, faculty and alumni. The exhibition features a diverse selection of images captured in Afghanistan, Argentina, Australia, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, Cuba, Ecuador, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Morocco, Nepal, Netherlands, Panama, Peru, Spain and Vietnam. 

    The Buckeye photographers featured in the exhibition are from six countries including: Afghanistan, Canada, China, India, South Korea and United States. The photographers include nine staff members, eight undergraduate students, eight alumni, three graduate students and one faculty member. More than 390 Buckeye photographers submitted 785 images to the 2025 International Photography Competition. 

    The photos were taken in 79 countries around the globe. A panel of three judges selected the images for the 2025 exhibition.
