The Office of International Affairs facilitates a wide array of international partnerships to further Ohio State’s mission to create and discover new knowledge to benefit our state, regional, national and global communities. The 2021 International Partnerships Annual Report provides statistics and highlights collaborations that expanded Ohio State’s global reach.
Forty-two agreements were formalized in 2021 – an increase from 27 in 2020 – with 11 colleges in 23 countries. Ohio State collaborated with 13 new partners and established agreements in Africa, Asia, Central America, Europe, North America and the Western Pacific.
Even though the pandemic continued to affect international travel and programming, Ohio State faculty collaborated with long-time partners, forged new relationships and discovered innovative ways to further their research and advance global initiatives.
