Expanding collaborations across India

With a goal of fostering innovative initiatives and expanding capacity-building programs, India Gateway Academic Director Jaideep Anand traveled to Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore to explore new collaborations in healthcare, education and entrepreneurship. The India Gateway initiated a series of meetings with key stakeholders, including Max Superspeciality, Nanavati Max, NITI Aayog, King Edward Memorial, the Government of Karnataka, and the American Institute of Indian Studies. The discussions focused on creating synergies and leveraging shared expertise to drive impactful outcomes in their respective fields, underscoring the commitment to strengthening ties and enhancing collaborative efforts for significant development and growth in India.

Wondwossen Gebreyes, executive director of the Global One Health Initiative, also visited India in June and met the managing director of Gennova Pharmaceuticals to explore partnerships to aid capacity-building initiatives in Ethiopia.
