A SEVIS policy analyst and compliance officer, Ruby Pentsil-Bukari is giving back to the university community by serving on the HR Benefits Appeal Committee for a three-year term starting in January 2024. The committee provides a dedicated body to hear, deliberate upon, and decide appeals of adverse benefit determination under one or more of the plans.
Pentsil-Bukari is currently completing a three-year term (2021-2024) on the President & Provost's Council on Women. She was co-chair for Senior Leadership from 2021-2023 and is currently on the Life/Work Balance Committee.
“I wanted to be more involved, outside of the Office of International Affairs, in matters impacting our Ohio State community. I’m most proud of working on initiatives with the council task force on streamlining, hiring and onboarding new staff to the university,” explained Pentsil-Bukari.
