"Studying in the United States has been my biggest dream since my undergraduate years and my experience here has gone far beyond academics. It is not only about what I learn in the classroom, but how I grow through the life I build outside of it. As an emerging researcher, my learning journey has been exponential. I have developed my research skills, gained deeper knowledge in STEM education, attended conferences that broaden my perspectives, and received endless support from my professors who genuinely care about my growth. At The Ohio State University, my graduate school experience feels meaningful, enriched by the many resources, events, and opportunities that expand both my learning and my connections with people from around the world.

Living in the United States has also allowed me to experience culture in a deeply personal way. Through moments of cultural exchange, I have celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas and Fourth of July with American families, while also sharing my Indonesian culture through food and stories. These experiences have created a sense of belonging that reaches beyond cultural differences.

Studying in the U.S. is not just shaping me as a scholar, but as a global citizen—someone who continues to grow academically while building meaningful human connections across cultures."
