During a recent visit to Kenya, Global One Health initiative (GOHi) Executive Director Wondwossen Gebreyes attended strategic meetings with leaders of key partners.
While in Nairobi, Kenya, Gebreyes met with Stephen Kaima, vice chancellor of the University of Nairobi, and Sam Kariuki, director-general of the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) to examine opportunities for One Health collaborative research and capacity building and strengthen the relationships between GOHi and the institutions. GOHi is working with the University of Nairobi and KEMRI to implement various projects in Kenya.
