“During my visit to Ohio State in February, I was warmly welcomed by professionals engaged in international initiatives and innovative projects. I toured cutting-edge labs and facilities, learned about initiatives, witnessed food delivery robots and even saw dinosaur fossils in the Orton Geological Museum,” reflected Karen Veloso, a member of Embraer’s university relations team, who met with representatives from the Office of International Affairs, the College of Engineering and the Center for Aviation Studies.
A Brazilian multinational aerospace corporation that designs, manufactures and sells aircraft and aviation systems, Embraer is hoping to strengthen connections to Ohio State.
“I also had the chance to connect with BRASA, the Brazilian student organization at Ohio State. They gave me a tour of the campus and showed great interest in career opportunities at Embraer. It was truly inspiring to see how the academic community drives knowledge and strengthens global collaboration!” Veloso said.
The visit strengthens Embraer’s growing relationship with Ohio State, that bodes well for future collaborations in aviation and engineering.
