Quinn Costanzo is a marketing major with the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State. While abroad in Paris, France, she learned much about herself and others through various professional and personal experiences.
When I applied for the Fisher Global Internship in Paris, I was ultimately looking to challenge myself. I wanted to put myself in a situation where I was forced to become comfortable in the uncomfortable in order to become a better version of myself. It was definitely challenging at times to live across the world at 18 years old with no knowledge of the language, let alone having my first internship in a marketing position.
This fear and discomfort truly accelerated my personal and professional growth in the past two months. Professionally, this internship has made me much more confident in my capabilities within a business environment. Most importantly, this program abroad has taught me more about myself than I could have ever imagined.
