  • Open Doors international rankings released

    The Ohio State University is ranked 23rd among doctoral institutions for the number of students studying abroad and 30th in international student enrollment, according to a national report released today. Ohio State more than doubled the number of students studying abroad with 2,043 traveling internationally in 2022-23. The university also is ranked 12th in the nation for the number of students participating in short-term programs with 1,764 studying abroad for two to eight weeks during the academic year.

  • 2024 International Photography Exhibition winners announced

    The 2024 International Photography Exhibition features 40 original photographs taken overseas in 22 different countries by 34 Ohio State students, staff, faculty and alumni.
  • GOHi’s three-year journey to empower Ethiopian healthcare

    For the past three years, Ohio State’s Global One Health initiative (GOHi) has dedicated substantial resources to partner facilities in Ethiopia enhancing their capacity to provide microbiology services and implement infection prevention and control practices. This work is all part of the Global Action in Healthcare Network – Antimicrobial Resistance (GAIHN-AR), which is a global network of healthcare facilities, laboratories and infection, prevention and control (IPC) teams. 

  • Seeking volunteers to serve Thanksgiving dinner

    More than 80 volunteers are needed to help serve Thanksgiving Dinner at the Ohio Union to 1,000 Ohio State students, faculty and staff unable to go home for the holiday on Wednesday, November 27. Volunteers are needed from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and are welcome to enjoy the meal after their shift.
