Brutus Buckeye serves food at Thanksgiving Dinner

An annual event, Thanksgiving Dinner brings together students, faculty and staff unable to return home for the long holiday weekend.

Thanksgiving Dinner will take place on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at noon in the Archie M. Griffin Ballroom at the Ohio Union. 

Every year, Ohio State hosts one of the largest Thanksgiving dinners on a college campus, the day before the holiday. An estimated 800 guests attend the free event and everyone must present a ticket to enter. More information about obtaining a ticket to attend will be available closer to the event.

An Ohio State Signature Event, Thanksgiving Dinner is supported by the Frank W. Hale, Jr. Black Cultural Center, the Office of International Affairs and the Office of Student Life's Dining Services.
