An annual event, Thanksgiving Dinner brings together students, faculty and staff unable to return home for the long holiday weekend.
Thanksgiving Dinner will take place on Wednesday, November 25, 2026 at noon in the Archie M. Griffin Ballroom at the Ohio Union.
Every year, Ohio State hosts one of the largest Thanksgiving dinners on a college campus, the day before the holiday. An estimated 1,000 guests attend the free event and everyone must present a ticket to enter.
Tickets will be available beginning Wednesday, November 11 at the Office of International Affairs in Enarson Classroom Building (8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Friday) and the Information Desk at the Ohio Union while supplies last. Students will need to show a BuckID to receive a ticket.
Thanksgiving dinner was first hosted on campus as a small gathering in Hale Hall in 1991. Over the years, the event has continued to grow and now provides a space for hundreds to gather together, celebrate and be thankful for our Buckeye community.
An Ohio State Signature Event, Thanksgiving Dinner is coordinated and supported by the Office of International Affairs.
