Participation Guidelines

Eligibility criteria for participation

  • Must be a registered organization with the Student Activities Office
  • Must have elements of the purpose of Taste of OSU stated in the organization's mission and reflected in the organization's activities
  • Organizations representing various regions of the world are strongly encouraged to participate
  • Must thoroughly read and follow the student participation guidelines

To participate in Taste of OSU, student organizations must successfully apply.

Ways to participate

Food and Cultural Booth

Student organizations can apply to prepare food and showcase their culture with a food and cultural booth. Only 17 organizations will be selected for the food preparation portion of the event, and three additional organizations will be selected to prepare a beverage representative of their home country.

Applications are not complete until you upload your recipes to the folder (see link below) as part of the application process.

The deadline to apply is Monday, November 3 at 11:59 p.m.

To apply, the organization must complete the application above and successfully submit two recipes. View recipe submission web page for more information. Student organizations may also apply to host a cultural booth only.

Cultural Performance

Student organizations can apply to perform on stage. The cultural performance can include dance, music, instruments and more.
