"Wadi Rum Desert was beautiful in the daylight, but I was incredibly excited to be outside of any light pollution to view the stars. The desert was enchanting that night- both quietly still and chaotically windy. We all gazed at the stars while listening to a local Bedouin, named Issa, retell a story of the time he encountered a mysterious valley in Saudi Arabia. I love this photograph because it not only captures the beauty of Wadi Rum, but shares a little bit of how each student on the trip experienced that beauty."
