"This lighthouse is the main tourist attraction in this small fishing town with a population of only about 1,500 people. For me, this was one of my favorite photos that I took while I was in Iceland because a lot of the big tourist attractions in Iceland are giant waterfalls, mountains, or even icebergs, but this was completely different than everything that I saw while I was there. It was just this small, quaint town that only took about 2 minutes to drive from one end to the other and right on the water's edge was this amazing lighthouse that had been there since 1897. It was a great change of pace to see this cool landmark that wasn't one of the big tourist attractions that everyone takes pictures of."
