"The subject is a young Tibetan monk at a monastery. These kids were preparing coloured sand used to make the Buddhist mandalas. What drew me towards them was their playfulness and devotion to the task at hand. One of them turned around with an innocent and curious smile. This picture invigorates the above blend of emotions and that is why i find it very special."
