"This photo was taken at the Mehrangarh Fort in the blue city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. A friend and I were walking around the fort in 46°C weather, listening to the history of this beautiful city. When we made it to the final gate, the radio tour we were listening to was discussing the influence women had in the fort. As I was listening, I noticed this woman in her beautiful turquoise sari, and I motioned to her that i was going to take a picture. She fixed the top of her sari, and focused her gaze on me. She was so beautiful in her own way, against the dark browns and tans of the fort, I just couldn't look away."
