In the artist’s own words: “Girls in Kimono (Japanese traditional garment) at the thousands gates of Fushimi Inari Taisha, a shrine for praying to the God of Rice (Inari), one of the gods in Shinto religion. I took this photo because I could feel that the moment when people were preparing to worship and thank their God at his 'home' was heartwarming."
