Butch Wright, a PhD candidate in anthropology and FLAS fellow, is set to graduate in spring 2026, and for his dissertation, he conducted an empirical examination of Indigenous communities in Brazil.

During 2026 spring break, over 240 students participated in study abroad programs to 12 countries.
