“This photo was taken in the 21st Century Art Museum, specifically while viewing a work by James Turrell. The work is essentially an open cut-out in the ceiling, and the puddle covered floor is the result of recent rainfall. I was looking at the work with some friends when a group of Japanese students came and sat directly across from us. I thought it was interesting to see school groups visiting a contemporary art museum, one where a lot of the works on display aren't immediately digestible to an audience. I quickly snapped a photo and I love how perfectly symmetrical it turned out. ”
