“In Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage city in southeast Cuba, I met a young girl who rides her white horse through her family "home" space where the lines between indoors and outdoors seem to disappear. Our local guide introduced us, and I was struck by the way this moment blended history, tradition, and daily life. The image feels meaningful to me because it captures both the uniqueness of her world and the enduring spirit of Cuban culture.”
