Thanksgiving Dinner

An annual event, Thanksgiving Dinner brings together the campus community of students, faculty and staff unable to return home for the long holiday weekend. An Ohio State Signature Event, Thanksgiving Dinner is supported by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, the Office of International Affairs, the Office of Student Life's Dining Services and The Ohio State University Alumni Association. ThanksgivingThe Ohio State University will host one of the largest Thanksgiving Day dinners on a college campus on Thursday, November 23, 2017 in the Ohio Union. An estimated 1,600 guests will attend the dinner, including students, faculty and staff, along with their families, who are unable to travel home for the holiday. Joining them will be many volunteers throughout the university community to assist in serving the traditional turkey dinner.

Seatings for the dinner will take place at 11:45 a.m. and 2 p.m., and all guests must have a ticket to enter. Tickets are free and will be available starting Monday, November 13 at 140 Enarson Classroom Building, the Hale Black Cultural Center and the Ohio Union Information Center.

The annual event estimates 1,600 guests will attend, including the students, faculty and staff, along with their families, who are unable to travel home for the holiday.
