In the artist’s own words: “I visited Europe this past summer and there was an excessive amount of rainfall during the trip. At first I was disappointed as it was difficult to find moments that I could take my camera out. I quickly realized how much more interesting the rain makes everything and started to enjoy the chance to photograph these old, rainy cities. This shot was taken just after a heavy rainfall after the blue hour. I was photographing a building in Bruges and noticed the perfect reflections in the large puddles. I returned to the location a short while later and the puddles had mostly drained. Talk about the right place at the right time!"
