For Saira Ramanna, an international student studying interior design at The Ohio State University, finding a welcoming and supportive global community was one of the biggest factors in choosing where to study.
"It wasn't just a study abroad trip; it was a powerful reminder of how deeply interconnected agriculture is across the globe,” reflected Megan Garrison, a senior studying animal sciences.
As a Fulbright-Nehru Postdoctoral Fellow at The Ohio State University, Sucharita Sen has found her time both personally enriching and professionally transformative. Her Fulbright project examines how everyday nonsexual intimacies between colonizers and the colonized in British India upheld imperial hierarchies while masking colonial violence.
"I've always wanted to study abroad to experience a new culture firsthand, and Florence, Italy feels like the perfect place with its rich history and great location for travel. My program, Arcadia Abroad at ISI Florence fits my academic interests as well.
