    Ethiopia is currently facing a challenging situation with multiple ongoing outbreaks, such as cholera, measles, malaria, and dengue fever. To effectively manage these crises, the Multi-Outbreak Response Incident Management System was activated by the Ethiopian Public Health Institute on March 23, 2023.

    Twelve Ohio State students and K-12 educators in Ohio will have an opportunity next summer to teach English in a public school in Taiwan and learn about multilingual and multicultural education through a comparative lens. Travel and in-country expenses will be fully funded for participants thanks to a U.S.

    Every semester, the Office of International Affairs hosts our International Student Experience Workshop Series for faculty and staff interested in learning more about the international student experience.

    The workshops will include presentations by staff from the Office of International Affairs and other offices on campus, as well as a panel of international students who will answer questions and share their experiences on the selected topics.

    Tal Shutkin has been awarded the prestigious Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) Fellowship to conduct research for his dissertation for seven months in Peru examining “Glacier Change and Social Hydrology of the Cordillera Huaytapallana.”
