Fisher continues to broaden the scope of engagements in India
Aravind Chandrasekaran, associate dean, graduate programs and executive education, travelled to India in October to expand the scope of partnerships the Fisher College of Business maintains with local businesses. Chandrasekaran traveled to Pune and Nashik to meet with partners at Tata Motors and Mahindra. He met with Mahindra’s manufacturing plant department heads at Nasik.

2023 Open Doors national rankings released
The Ohio State University is ranked 30th among doctoral institutions hosting international students and 40th for the number of students studying abroad, according to a national report released today.
Ohio State enrolled 6,896* international students in 2022, an increase of 4.4 percent from 2021, and 999 students studied abroad in 2021-22 compared to only nine the previous academic year during the height of the pandemic.
GOHi provides real-time PCR training
Experts from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and The Ohio State University Global One Health initiative (GOHi) provided real-time PCR training to detect genetic markers associated with Carbapenem Resistance as part of the CDC-funded Global Action in Healthcare Network Antimicrobial Resistance (GAIHN-AR) project.
GOHi team members Zelalem Mekuria and Tadesse Eguale provided virtual and e-learning modules for staff members from the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) on basic laboratory and molecular biology using the CDC e-learning platform.

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) International Fellowship Program aims to equip Indian biomedical scientists with advanced training and exposure to cutting-edge knowledge and technology with international experts in their fields.
