Buckeyes Abroad: Emma Pfister

Emma Pfister, a double major in international relations and diplomacy and Spanish, lived with a Spanish speaking host family and engaged in the culture of Granada, Spain while on her time with the ISA Granada, Spain spring 2022 program. 

Buckeyes Abroad: Quinn Costanzo

Quinn Costanzo is a marketing major with the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State. While abroad in Paris, France, she learned much about herself and others through various professional and personal experiences. 

Buckeyes Abroad: Priya Chandna

Priya Chandna, a graduate student in nursing, was fully immersed in the Nursing Norway summer 2022 program because the program provided real opportunities to practice healthcare while abroad.

Buckeyes Abroad: Charles Costanzo

Charles Costanzo, a political science and statistics double major, learned how Rwanda recovered and reestablished peace in the aftermath of the 1994 genocide while abroad on the Genocide and Its Aftermath in Rwanda summer 2022 program.

Buckeyes Abroad: Grace Davis

Grace Davis, an integrated language arts/English education major, studied Shakespeare at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and took a British media course during her time on the AIFS Abroad in London summer 2022 program. 

Buckeyes Abroad: Alanna Strickland

Alanna Strickland, senior international studies major and recipient of the O-H-I-O Education Abroad Scholarship, has been accepted into a two-year Peace Corps program to Togo. While in Togo, Strickland will be an English education teacher as well as an advocate for women and girls empowerment.

During summer 2022, Strickland participated on the Genocide and its Aftermath in Rwanda program.

Buckeyes Abroad: Jessica Langer

Jessica Langer, a journalism major, took a walking history class and interned with CBS New London during her Arcadia University - London Internship Program in summer 2022.

I’ve always wanted to go abroad. It is such a cool experience and something that would be out of my comfort zone. And this summer, I went to London where I took a walking history course and did an internship with CBS News’ London bureau. This time spent abroad was one that I will never forget.

Buckeyes Abroad: Taylor Cyr

Our study/teach abroad trip to Oaxaca, Mexico has just come to an end, and I can’t help but reflect on the amazing opportunity for personal and professional growth that it was for each member of our program. I learned so much about myself through our teaching placement, graduate school class and the multitude of trips that we took around the state of Oaxaca to truly experience it in all of its glory. I am so beyond thankful for Ohio State and the Fulbright Hays Foundation for making this once in a lifetime trip possible.

Buckeyes Abroad: Ben Mollica

Ben Mollica, a biochemistry major and Spanish minor, studied abroad in Valencia, Spain via ISA Valencia, Spain: Hispanic Studies - Summer program in 2022.

“I had a once in a lifetime experience studying abroad in Valencia, Spain. Spending 5 weeks in this beautiful city greatly impacted my world view and my insight on Spanish culture and language. I primarily wanted to do this trip to improve my Spanish speaking skills. Being immersed with native speakers everywhere I went helped me learn so much and pick up on common words and phrases that were new to me.

Eva Greenberg, a communication major, interned in Spain with Mooveteam for two months during summer 2022 on a Fisher College of Business Global Internship program.
