Description: "Hundreds of years ago the Norse began putting grass on their roofs as a way of keeping the warmth in in the winter and warm the homes cool in the summer. This iconic architecture is seen throughout Scandinavia, but particularly in the Faroe Islands. Drangarnir, the collective name for the two sea stacks in the distance in this photo is an iconic location here on the island of Vagar. I combined this well known architecture with Drangarnir to complete the image."
