In the artist’s own words: "One of the highlights of my African safari in 2011 was the day we spent with the Maasai tribesman in Northern Tanzania. They are known for their distinctive brightly colored costumes and dresses. Their culture, traditions and lifestyle are an awesome experience for visitors. This photograph of a jumping ceremony called "adumu" is a Maasai warrior rite of passage."
