In the artist's words: "Just off the Shinjuku station in Tokyo lies a collection of small bars, yakitori grills and food stalls that seems to be "THE" place for locals for a quick meal and to gather with friends. This narrow street suffered a fire in 1999 but fortunately the local government decided to rebuild it preserving the old Japan vibe it represented."
