Conversation groups

Scholar Conversation Hour

Scholar Conversation Hour takes place every Wednesday during the academic year and provides an opportunity for Ohio State’s international scholars to improve their English conversation skills, learn more about American culture while sharing their own culture, insights and experiences. Scholars are welcome to bring their lunch and connect with fellow members of the international Buckeye community for an interactive language learning experience, led by Office of International Affairs staff.

No need to register – family and friends are welcome to join!

One of its main goals is to raise money for the UWC scholarship fund. The UWC meets on the first Monday of each month between October and May (excluding January) at 11:30 a.m. in Ohio State's Faculty Club. There are also various interest groups women can join.
