Thirteen faculty members across five colleges have been awarded grants to conduct research that align with the engagement missions of Ohio State’s five Area Studies Centers and their respective regions of the world. Over the 2023-24 academic year, the faculty awardees will work on projects directly connected to Africa, East Asia, Eastern Europe and Eurasia, Latin America and the Middle East.

The Faculty Research, Teaching and Outreach Grant, which is supported by the Office of International Affairs and the Area Studies Centers, was initiated to advance research and scholarship across a variety of disciplines and fields of interest.
