Join the Ohio State Brazil Gateway, the Federal University of Pará and nonprofit Meli Bees Network for a dynamic roundtable ahead of COP30. The 30th annual United Nations Climate Change Conference, where global leaders, scientists, activists and members of civil society gather to negotiate and advance international efforts to combat climate change, will take place in Belém do Pará, Brazil, November 10-21. In this Pre-COP virtual event on Monday, November 3 from 4-6 p.m. ET/6-8 p.m. BRT, we will bring together academic voices from the United States and Brazil, as well as Indigenous leaders, to discuss the critical role of civil society in shaping climate change conversations and the expectations for this year’s COP.
