Description

This is a four-week program in British theatre that takes place in May and June. Emphasis is placed on the dynamic theatre scene in London and the multicultural dimension of theatre practice in Britain today. Students attend a play almost every day of the program in a wide variety of styles and venues. These venues include the Royal National Theatre, the Almeida, the Old Vic, the Young Vic, the Kiln Theatre, and Shakespeare's Globe, among others. In addition, a side trip will be made to Stratford-Upon-Avon for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
