Information Session: Guatemala Engineering Service-Learning

This program is designed to introduce and teach students the concepts of humanitarian engineering through community-driven, proactive, meaningful, authentic, real-world international engineering experiences. Students take a spring term course to learn about the history, culture, economic development, education systems and sustainable technologies of Guatemala, working with local communities and partners. 

During spring break, students will travel to Guatemala to collaboratively propose, implement and evaluate various solutions to community-identified challenges including access to clean water, alternative energy resources, water sanitation and agriculture.
