The Exploring Systems Leadership in Greece program will support students' growth in understanding culture, leadership, and systems thinking, as complex issues related to food, agriculture, and the environment require more than subject matter expertise. These complex issues require a holistic understanding of the human dimension. The three primary core course components (culture, leadership, and systems thinking) will support the development of critical thinking skills needed for solving such complex issues. While in Greece, students will have lectures on agriculture and food production/processing, group dynamics and leadership, and visit local markets, cultural sites, and food and agricultural facilities. Additionally, students will hike Mt. Olympus and enjoy a city tour of Athens and visit the Parthenon and Acropolis. Students will have some free time throughout the trip to explore the cities in which they are staying and nearby beaches!
