Join us for 3.5 weeks of May 2027 in North Queensland, Australia, exploring critical environmental issues such as rainforest and wildlife conservation, agriculture and mining, and rising ocean temperatures on coral reefs!
Throughout the Australia: Human Impacts on the Natural Environment study abroad program, students will learn about the history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities as well as their conservation and land management practices. This is an incredibly active and outdoor-oriented program. You will spend much of your time outside hiking and learning from Australian environmental professionals. You will learn about restoration efforts while hiking through the Wet Tropics, participating in an agricultural homestay, and snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef!
