At the Department of Design, we believe that great design is shaped by diverse perspectives and global experiences. Our semester-long education abroad programs give students the opportunity to immerse themselves in new cultures, study at leading international institutions, and return with a broadened worldview and a stronger design voice.
Join Fabienne Munch (Professor, Department Chair), Amanda Huynh (Associate Professor, IND Coordinator), Gabe Tippery (Senior Academic Specialist), Phillip Biondo (VCD Year-4 Student), and Peter Kwok Chan (Associate Professor, VCD) as they introduce our three active international exchange programs:
- University of Montreal (School of Design)
- CY Cergy Paris University (CY École de design)
- National University of Singapore (College of Design and Engineering, Division of Industrial Design)
Design students and faculty are welcome to attend. A brief Q&A session will follow, along with a sign-up sheet for those interested in applying for Autumn 2026 or Spring 2027 exchanges.
