Enjoy an all-day adventure with fellow students as we hike scenic nature trails and explore the vibrant downtown of Yellow Springs on Thursday, October 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Yellow Springs proudly boasts a rich history of embracing diversity, fostering creativity and nurturing a strong sense of community. Established in the early 1800s, Yellow Springs quickly blossomed into a haven for artists, intellectuals and forward-thinking entrepreneurs. From the pioneering spirit that shaped Antioch College to the vibrant downtown streets brimming with unique shops, cozy cafes, and inviting eateries, every corner of Yellow Springs whispers tales of resilience, innovation and a deep-seated commitment to togetherness.
We will meet at the Brutus Buckeye bench at the Ohio Union at 9:45 a.m. and take a charter bus to Yellow Springs. This is an outdoor event so please plan/dress accordingly. Students should bring money for any food or souvenir purchases.
Transportation is provided by the Office of International Affairs, and we have a 56-person limit. This is a first come, first served event. If you register to attend, you are confirming your space on the bus. If you can't make it, please let us know so that we can provide the space for others on the waitlist.
