The launch in July of a new hybrid learning program developed for Tata Motors included a moderated roundtable for Tata senior leadership and Ohio State’s Fisher College of Business. Anil Makhija, dean of Fisher College of Business and Peter Ward, senior associate dean for academics, addressed the 170 participants who would be undergoing the eight specially curated training modules comprised of both synchronous and asynchronous learning material.
Ward and Nikhil Tambe, director of the India Gateway have been involved in designing this unique hybrid program while working alongside the learning and development teams at Tata Group, Tata Management Training Center and Tata Motors. The India Gateway works closely with the Tata Group based in Mumbai. The India Gateway also collaborated on programs delivered by faculty in Fisher’s Executive Education program, and had two student cohorts complete experiential learning projects last spring.
