The India Gateway met and interacted with over 2,000 prospective students, parents, and high school counselors during the fall recruitment season. The 25 high school visits included fairs in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Dehradun, Coimbatore, Ooty, and Kodaikanal and school systems such as The Doon School, Dehli Public School Society and Oberoi International School – all who implement the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education/Central Board of Secondary Education, Cambridge A/AS levels, and International Baccalaureate curriculum.
Gateway representatives presented information about Ohio State’s requirements and opportunities to all the prospective undergraduate students planning for their higher education in the United States.
Prospective students inquired about programs in engineering, business, medicine, arts, music, design, theatre, film studies, architecture, environmental science, law, and psychology. Students in eighth to tenth grade were interested in short/pre-college summer programs. Students were amazed to learn about Ohio State’s campus, student life, facility, course offerings and endless opportunities available through academically enriched programs.
